Disable Microsoft Error Reporting

    • Method #1 Using Control Panel
      • Open Control Panel
      • Click Performance and Maintenance
      • Click System
      • Click Advance Tab
      • Click Error Reporting button at the bottom
      • Select Disable Error Reporting
      • Click the "But notify me when a critical error occurs" (This is user's choice, personally I would leave this disabled too)
    • Method #2 Using The Registry
      • Click Start
      • Click Run
      • Type in

regedit.exe

      • Find the following Registry Key

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main

      • Highlight the Main Key
      • Create a new DWORD and name it IEWatsonEnabled
      • Double click the IEWatsonEnabled name and give it a value of "0" to Disable, "1' to Enable
